Film Screening (Melbourne): The Trials of Spring

The Young Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom presents a film screening of The Trials of Spring.

Created by Abigail Disney and Gini Reticker, the team behind the award winning documentary Pray the Devil Back to Hell, The Trials of Spring is a major documentary event that chronicles of the stories of nine women who played central roles in the Arab Spring uprisings and their aftermaths in Syria, Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Bahrain and Yemen.

Join us prior to the screening of the film to enjoy light refreshments and listen to young women speak about YWILPF’s past achievements and their projects going into the future.
